TRISTAN's Synthesis
The Rare & Familiar Rienzi
Wagner's early
years in his mid-twenties wherein all he surveyed reflected his sanguine
love of life, his view that all is ephemeral, his empathy for man's
tribulations, and his tenderness towards children -- a classic Lullaby
-- and his identification with young lovers. This purview of his output
sweeps along with a Landscape of two of his Heroes TRISTAN & RIENZI:
Political, Tormented, Romantic, Lusty, & Fearless in Syntheses revealing
their outward, and most personal inner compulsions.
